Police and East Staffs Borough Council Joint initiative at Burton Town Hall - Anti-Social Behaviour - Consuming alcohol in a PSPO area

On Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, in response to concerns expressed by the local community and East Staffordshire Borough Council (ESBC) regarding the consumption of alcohol and subsequent anti-social behaviour at Burton Town Hall, King Edward Place —an area subject to a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) — officers from Burton Police Station, in collaboration with Civil Enforcement Officers from ESBC, conducted a joint operation. This initiative aimed to engage with individuals in the vicinity and enforce compliance with the PSPO. Those found in violation of the order were issued Fixed Penalty Notices as part of the enforcement measures.
